Established in 1948, The Mercy Auxiliary of Central Iowa is a dynamic organization with more than 2,100 members. Each year, net proceeds from Auxiliary–managed operations – Mercy Gift House & Flowers, Mercy Salon, Mercy Starbucks and Mercy West Lakes Gift House & Brew – are combined with money raised from other events and are donated to Mercy Foundation to fund a variety of activities and programs throughout Mercy. The Mercy Auxiliary is the single-largest donor to Mercy Foundation, having contributed more than $9.8 million since 1976.
