Three New Directors Join 2020 MercyOne Des Moines Foundation Board

MercyOne Des Moines Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of three new board members for the 2020 fiscal year: Erin Kuhl, Cary Murphy, M.D. and William Vandivier, D.O.

Erin Kuhl is the Chief Financial Officer for Kum & Go, L.C. and provides oversight of the finance and accounting departments for the organization, while contributing financial strategy and executive leadership in developing long- and short-term financial plans for the company, thereby enhancing company performance, working capital and business culture.

Dr. Murphy is a board certified Neonatologist and Medical Director and Director of Neonatal Transport at MercyOne Children’s Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where he supports the NICU staff and helps care for premature infants. He has worked at MercyOne Children’s Hospital’s NICU since 2004.

Dr. Vandivier is board certified in family medicine and medicine informatics and serves as President of MercyOne Medical Group – Central Iowa, our comprehensive clinics system, where he manages a multispecialty physician enterprise of over 400 providers. He also serves as Chief Physician Executive of MercyOne Central Iowa.
